The rare, original pilot to the Comedy Central hit series South Park will air with four minutes of never-before-seen footage for a limited time online at the new South Park Digital Studios site at www.southparkstudios.com.
The pilot will air on the site, a joint venture between South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker and Comedy Central, for 30 days and will contain advertising. The original pilot became the basis for the premiere episode of the series, which debuted in 1997 and has been honored with both Peabody and Emmy Awards.
The pilot also can be watched with commentary from crew producer Eric Stough and South Park Studios creative director Chris Brion.
The site also features full episodes of the show, clips from every episode and behind the scenes info on all 12 seasons of the show.
