FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment’s exec VP/general manager Rick Glankler has announced the appointment of three new senior roles within the division: Henry Or as VP Kids & Family Ent., Asia’; Tracy Griffiths as VP Licensing & Consumer Products EMEA & Australia; and Nicola Herrmann as Global Brand Director. These appointments wrap up the restructuring of the consumer products business announced earlier this year, and bolsters the brand management team.
Henry Or, based in Hong Kong, will have overall responsibility for the kids business in Asia, tasked with developing a new regional sales team for broadcast, digital and home entertainment distribution, as well as building the consumer products business. Or and Tracy Griffiths will develop local strategies for their respective markets, furthering the companies franchises. He previously served as director for Asia at HIT Ent. Prior to this, he managed regional operations for Top-Insight International.
Griffiths, in London, will also be charged with expanding FMKFE’s existing agents business agents in EMEA and work closely with Liz Burnett, Director of Licensing in Australia. Joining the existing senior consumer products team, Or and Griffiths will report directly to Glankler. Griffiths also joins FMKFE from HIT, where she was group director, softlines, for EMEA, where she helped launch Mike the Knight into the market.
Nicola Herrmann, also in London, will report to SVP global brand management Tessa Moore and be responsible for the creation and execution of global and local brand strategies for key properties. She joins from Zodiak Rights, where she was head of brand marketing and helped guide Tickety Toc‘s growth into a notable brand in the U.S., Canada, U.K. and Australia. Previously she was director of international brand management, EMEA, for Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products.
