Guru Studio has appointed Rachel Marcus as development executive.
Marcus joins the award-winning Canadian studio directly from her position as digital content development producer at Nickelodeon Networks in New York.
Reporting to exec VP Mary Bredin, Marcus will be responsible for developing all content for the studio, sourcing new IPs, and overseeing strategic positioning. She will work closely with the studio’s creative resources on both domestic and international content.
Marcus joins Guru Studio with extensive experience discovering new talent and innovative IP for both linear and interactive entertainment.
Marcus begins her new role March 27.
