A fresh hatched take on the adult cartoon genre is about to take wing on Netflix, as Lisa Hanawalt’s Tuca & Bertie brings the hilarious (and tragically relatable) misadventures of two 30-year-old bird-women to streaming viewers. The show stars Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong as the neighbors and best buds Tuca, a cocky, care-free toucan; and Bertie, an anxious, daydreaming songbird.
The 10-episode first season launches May 3 on Netflix.
