The mad geniuses behind Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken are tackling a new challenge as Stoopid Buddy Stoodios introduces a first-of-its kind course called “Stoopid Buddy Stoodios Animation Camp,” available through Vimeo On Demand (vimeo.com/ondemand/animationclass).
Taught by the Stoodios’ award-winning animation team, the two-hour course provides hands-on style training, tips and lectures designed to provide aspiring animators with the tools and techniques that will help hone their stop-motion skills. Topics include frame rates, basic physics, walks, performing with a character and animating to dialog.
The online course builds on Stoopid Buddy Stoodios’ popular eight-week beginner and intermediate training courses held at its Burbank, CA facility. Through Vimeo, you can download the course for $99.99 or “rent” it with 30 days of streaming access for $79.99.
