Production and distribution company 9 Story Ent. announced today that it has completed production of the first 26 three-minute episodes of the new multi-platform animated-comedy series Futz! A TELETOON original production, the series is scheduled to have its world premiere as part of the network’s new fall programming line-up, which kicks off this month.
Made for kids 9-14, Futz! is described as a throw-back, non-verbal cartoon based on the whacked-out, comedic adventures of a one odd-looking yet strangely appealing character. Ready for anything but prepared for nothing, Futz is always able to severely mess things up in just 180 seconds.
“Kids today are seeking strong entertainment content from a variety of venues, so we created the series with this timeless, comedic anti-hero as its star to fit the diverse multi-platform needs of young audiences everywhere,” says Vince Commisso, CEO and co-partner of 9 Story Ent.
