The popular Canadian-produced animated TV series Atomic Betty is returning to the air in the United States.
All three seasons of the series have been acquired by The Hub, a new television network for children that is a joint venture of Hasbro and Discovery Communications.
Atomic Betty will premiere Oct. 10, the first day the network begins broadcasting to 60 million U.S. households via cable and satellite.
The show was created by Atomic Cartoons, and produced by A Betty Productions (BC) Inc., A Betty Productions Inc. and Teleimages Kids.
Atomic Betty has been sold to 180 countries worldwide and been nominated 11 times for various awards, including a Gemini win for Best Ensemble Performance in an Animated Series, and a BAFTA Nomination for Best International Children’s Production.
