Earlier this morning (Thursday) the nominees for Outstanding Animated Program were announced by the TV Academy. Fox scored big time with three nods for American Dad (really?), Bob’s Burgers and long-time favorite The Simpsons. Also nominated were Futurama (Comedy Central) and The Penguins of Madagascar (Nickelodeon).
Cartoon Network dominated the Outstanding Short-Form Animated Program category with Adventure Time, Regular Show, MAD and Robot Chicken. Disney’s only nominee in this category is Phineas and Ferb.
