Discovery Family will kick off its on air holiday programming line-up with the premiere of My Little Pony: A Very Minty Christmas on December 13 at 7 p.m./6 CT. The one-hour animated event features the whimsical classic Ponies as they prepare Ponyville for Christmas and introduces new holiday songs.
When Minty (voiced by Tabitha St. Germain), a rather clumsy pony, decides that the decorative centerpiece is slightly crooked, she accidentally shatters it, destroying the beacon that should lead Santa Claus to the town! Taking matters into her own hooves, Minty heads to the North Pole to save Christmas for her friends.
Discovery Family’s holiday programming will also include the premieres of Littlest Pet Shop “Winter Wonder” (Dec. 13, 12:30 p.m.) and Transformers Rescue Bots “The Riders of Winter” (Dec. 13, 1 p.m.).
