A new animated preschool comedy is heading to Disney Junior channels in the US, Australia/New Zealand, Korea and India: Pikwik, from Toronto-based studio Guru (PAW Patrol, Justin Time, True and the Rainbow Kingdom; and Oscar-nominated feature The Breadwinner). The show follows the charming adventures of a troupe of super cute young animals.
In the town of Pikwik, every day is a new surprise as thoughtful Suki the Hedgehog leads her team, Trevor the Racoon, Hazel the cat, and Tibor the hippo to help deliver surprise-filled parcels to the colorful residents of Pikwik. The 11-minute stories are packed with silly hijinx, big adventure, and heartfelt charm that will entertain preschoolers while underscoring the value of teamwork, responsibility, and critical thinking.
Aimed at children ages 2-5 and comprising a 52 x 11’ first season, Pikwik was created by Guru’s Executive Creative Director Frank Falcone, Development Executive Rachel Reade Marcus, and former EVP Mary Bredin.

Guru’s long-term plans for the series include expanding this colorful, kid-friendly world into toys, apps and other consumer products to coincide with the series premiere on Disney Junior.
