Johnny Test Comes to Cartoon Network

After a successful two-season run during on Kids’ WB! lineup on The CW network, Cookie Jar Ent.’s animated series Johnny Test is set to make its Cartoon Network debut on Monday, Jan. 7 at 4 p.m. The show will continue to air on The CW as well, at least until 4Kids programming takes over the children’s block starting with the 2008-2009 season.

Johnny Test made its broadcast debut in 2005. The show centers on the always-eager experimental team of Johnny and his genetically enhanced dog, Dukey. Johnny serves as a guinea pig for his twin prodigy inventor sisters, Mary and Susan, who outfit him with an endless supply of cool gadgets as he combats the evil schemes of spoiled rich kid Eugene Hamilton, a.k.a. Bling-Bling Boy. Johnny Test is produced by Jennifer Picherack, and exec produced by Michael Hirsh, Pamela Slavin, Scott Fellows and Loris Lunsford.

Other popular Cookie Jar Ent. properties include The Doodlebops, Caillou and Magi-Nation. A co-production of Cookie Jar and South Korea’s Daiwon, Magi-Nation has also been airing on Kids’ WB! since its North American debut in early 2007.
