+ SeaWorld Kids, the children’s entertainment brand of SeaWorld Parks & Ent., has joined forces with DQ Entertainment and Rollman Entertainment for a new animated comedy-adventure, Yonaguni (52 x 11, kids 6-11). Formerly known as The Octo Force, the show follows a group of underwater heroes attending the Deep Sea Academy to learn the skills it takes to defend the sea from the villainous Voxoro and his mutant fishoids, under the secret tutelage of mighty (but slightly crazy) warrior Nomon.
+ Indie distributor DLT/Raydar Rights has announced a raft of deals at the market, including the sale of a further 52 episodes of Nick Junior animated preschool hit Olive the Ostrich, from Blue Zoo Studio, to 200 markets at MIP Junior. DLT/Raydar is also showcasing the innovative live-action/animation hybrid pre-k series Magic Hands at MIPCOM. The CBeebies hit uses five-minute episodes mixing sign language, speech and music to explore classic and modern poetry.
