A new five-year alliance has been formed between India’s DQ Entertainment and France’s Moonscoop Group. This new partnership, which includes five animated series and two feature co-productions is estimated to be worth $100 million.
The new strategic partnership was initially discussed as Moonscoop and DQE began working together on the upcoming animated series Casper’s Scare School, which is co-produced with Classic Media. The two studios have also worked together on series such as The Fantastic Four, ToddWorld and Twisted Whiskers, along with Moonsccop partner Mike Young Productions.
“Thi sis a magnificent strategic and functional partnership,” says DQE Group’s chairman and CEO Tapaas Chakravarti. “There are compelling synergies in working together and we will jointly produce world-class TV productions and feature films, including those with Indian mythology and stories.”
