Radical Sheep’s ‘Ollie!’ Tucks in with CBC Kids

New animated kids’ series Ollie! The Boy Who Became What He Ate from Radical Sheep Productions and Mickey Rogers Media will premiere Saturday, February 18 at 9 a.m. (9:30 a.m. in NL, 8 a.m. in AB and 7:30 a.m. in BC) on CBC Kids, Canada. Based on the popular children’s property created by Sheena Macrae, the 26 x 11 series will debut new episodes each Saturday, with encores on Mondays at 8 a.m. (8:30 NL).

Ollie! The Boy Who Became What He Ate is a super heroic flight into the wide world of healthy food options. The show sars six-year-old Ollie, a hesitant eater who turns every meal into an adventure as he becomes what he eats, gaining superpowers from nutritious foods that help him save the day.

“We are thrilled to hit the airwaves on CBC Kids with this fun and dynamic series about trying new and healthy foods,” said President of Radical Sheep Productions Michelle Melanson Cuperus. “There is an epic adventure in every bite.”

Cuperus, John Leitch, Mickey Rogers, Sheena Macrae, Ivan Schneeberg and David Fortier are executive producers on the series, with Jain Dickson as producer. Animation is provided by Keyframe Animation; Boat Rocker Rights is the exclusive global distributor and will represent merchandising and licensing opportunities.
