Space Ghost Back to Haunt Cartoon Network

According to Variety, Space Ghost Coast to Coast will be back on Cartoon Network for a six-episode engagement. The cult hit series made a talk show host of the classic Hanna-Barbera superhero who defeated his enemies with invisibility.

The original Space Ghost ran on CBS from 1966-68 and on NBC for the 1996-97 season. The character was revived by Cartoon Network in 1994 with Coast to Coast, which had the toon hero interacting with live-action guests from the world of entertainment.

After a two-year hiatus, fan demand has led to a slate of new half-hour installments. Executive producers Mike Lazzoand, Keith Crofford and Matt Harrigan are overseeing production at the cable outlet’s studio in Atlanta.

Space Ghost’s first guests of the new season will be comedian Dennis Miller, Survivor host Jeff Probst and actor William Shatner.
